this seems like an obvious ploy to turn Weck into a pro wrestler. Can't help but think this is a huge, not so subtle act
[close]

this could actually be an industry young Joel thrives in.

-over-inflated egos/senses of self worth
-loud, over the top/over-acted behavior in general
-dem roids
-borderline homo erotic choreographed dance routines

sounds right up his alley
[close]

But isn’t he short?
[close]

Eddie Guerrero was 5ft8in...

how tall is Weck?
if he's shorter than that, you're probably right... how do you make a chode marketable?
[close]

Not a height dig, Vince MacMahon is a notorious size queens and usually doesn’t book smaller guys to win unless audiences force his hand.

this is aew not wwe

and yeh vince wasn't mad on daniel bryan (height issue) until the crowds forced him

I mentioned WWE because MJF is already a better, Long Island version of Joel Weck

I found Joel listed as 5’10 and a half on some personal trainer site so he’s def 5’8.

I'm feeling this. I predict they start a match and other extreme sports themed wrestlers hop out and Weck and Darby have to team up to fight them.

Can you imagine how great it would be to see a grown man scoot his way into a wrestling arena?

I don’t watch wrestling but I know storylines are a big part of it. If this is how they develop the Weck v Darby storyline, it’s an impressive effort.

I see it though, get the two skaters pitted against each other, bring in new viewer base, and Weck already has the nickname.

I would watch this fight, in the ring or in the streets.

Or in the sheets?

It would definitely be in the sheets. Whoever the fuck "Darby" is looks like a power bottom

Who cares about Weck and Darby? More into Andy vs. Jean-Michel.

Shane Douglas and Johnny Ace rode to the ring on skateboards back in late 80’s NWA as the tag team Dynamic Dudes. Weck and Darby should team up as a reboot.
Jim Ross was talking about the skate industry on his podcast yesterday. It was bizarre but awesome to hear the crossover. No talk of weck though.

Darby for the win: stick and move, let weck gas out, then play some sweet chin music.
He has other problems on his hands, though: He called out Jon Moxley. That sick son of a bitch had a brutal hardcore match with Omega recently.
