i've liked them more and more with each release they've had since their first. their EP last year had some really strong stuff.

HOWEVER, that song was better than earlier stuff they did. They're just too core-y for me. It sounds like someone gave them a "Death Metal for Dummies" book and they just stuck with it in order to make sure that they're heavy. But it just makes them forgettable.

RAZORWYRE - The Infinite/Desert Inferno (Promo Release)

This IMO is New Zealands premiere metal band.

They have just confirmed to play at the 2013 Keep It True festival in Germany.

No plans, just ideas

Ive been listening to this band, called Voodooshock, and they are tight as fuck. A little bit like Pentagram, or Saint Vitus, and these old doom metal bands. Good shit.

Voodooshock - Fountain Of Freedom

Voodooshock - Funeral Farewell

I saw that Amon Amarth was already posted but this one is worth the revisit "Metalwrath" from my favorite album...
Amon Amarth - Metalwrath

Saw DevilDriver live in a tiny bar, still one of the best live show memories and this song makes me go fast...
Grinfucked - Devildriver

Been on a Down kick after this song showed up on my shuffle while I was skating and led to 5:31 of euphoria...
Beneath The Tides - Down

old Down..
Down Stone The Crow w/lyrics

the goat cheese of Mendes

New Electric Wizard jams.  Heavy as fuck.

? Electric Wizard ? - Legalise drugs and murder

the very beginning of this one sounds like satanic rites of drugula. Good stuff!

also super stoked on the doom/stoner programmation of the new stage of the HELLFEST festival (France).
Orange Goblin, Pentagram, Saint Vitus  and Sunn o))) durning the same w-e.

Destroyer 666 - Unchain The Wolves

RIGOR MORTIS - DIE IN PAIN

really into this thrash/black thing lately just, why? 80's, why? Why this endless solo in the middle of Rigor Mortis?

new baroness. BARONESS - "Take My Bones Away"

not too crazy about the fact that john apparently sings 100% on the record, but i'll pick it up anyway.

Nice. I find it funny that they have asked to crash at people's places every time I've seen them. Gotta do what you gotta do. I'd have no problem offering my place if my apt. had room. And my mom said if we had more room at my house, we could offer it up. Maybe I can swing that when I see them in June because my sister moved out.

Hate, that Bell Witch is sweet!

I really like the new Cattle Decapitation album, Mononlith of Inhumanity. It's definatly different from their previous work(more melody imo), but dang there is some good stuff on it.

My roommate got me into Thou. Feelin the sludge lately.

I feel like every show i go to at least one band asks if they can crash at someones place. Decrepit Birth stayed at my place about a month ago. Real nice guys, i can only imagine how nice it must feel to be able to sleep at a clean, quiet house.

If anyone on here is from Michigan or the midwest, i highly suggest going to see Beast in the Field live. Im not gonna post anything of their because it probably won't do them justice. You have to see them live. They are loud and intense. Just a guitarist and drummer. After the show the drummer "baptizes" willing fans by smashing their head into the wall of amplifiers while the guitarist lets the feedback rip. Its crazy.

Oh, hi Slap. Long time no post.
It was seriously like seeing Jesus on a skateboard.
