Man more Ron Allen story's please

He was in Aberdeen for an "H-Street" tour with Tony Mag (Aberdeen is not anywhere near where they were touring but they had a day off and i guess wanted to see what depressing would look like if it were an object), anyway they were doing demo's at Livi, which is in between Glasgow and Edinburgh (Aberdeen is 3 hours away).

So anyway Ron Allen and Tony Mag are in the fucking skate shop in the pissing rain, laughing about how crap the weather is, so Ron wants to see some skate spot, we show him the local spots, he's pretty stoked on them as well, which is funny, so he he wanted to come back and skate here before the tour was over, a few days later adn we're at the demo being stoked on them skating and he's all like "Hey you guy's came to the demo - that's rad" he was totally stoked on us coming down to watch them skate, it was rad, he was really fuckign good as well, they had an am with them but i wasn't sure who that was

But yeah a really, really nice guy, so stoked on everything "Hey it sure rains a lot here !"

I think was my favourite quote

Because I'm bored at work:

Ron Allen is one of the coolest pros I ever met. No vibes or ego, just about skating and having fun.

I see him skating around pretty often. I think my most random sighting of him was when I was skating this school and noticed the window was open. It was on the second story but I managed to climb up to it and sneak in and found a marching band uniform. As I was climbing back out I saw Ron Allen walking down the sidewalk.
let me just name a few of the hammers in this video...

when he was over in the uk for the hocus pocus premiere i got to skate curbs with him outside the original slam/rough trade, super nice guy.

i noticed someone did a trick in a recent video over the 'ron allen gap' which stoked me out.

i too have the fun video, he hand painted the boxes for those if i remember right

Ron is about the truest skater there can be... still living and breathing it so positively everyday from ripping it up at all the bay area parks to being so stoked on doing skate camps for the future generations! he is one of a kind~

i can honestly say i love this section of the life video.  ron allen rips, always has.  this was such an amazing time of skating for me.  john deago KILLS it, full cab back lip???  still ridiculous to me.  plus that's my favorite song ever.
