We're going to do a video every year around this time and have rotating parts in each vid.
This vid will have footage of everyone in montages and shared parts; with full parts of 5 or 6 people.

it seems a lot of companies are doing the, "more-vids-with-a-rotating-cast" type thing these days. is there an economic reason for this or is it just more fun to do it with less people more often? just wondering. and the steamer pro model? YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES!

Just got out of the premier the video is amazing. Garrett hill first part. Its long and insane my favorite part for sure. Keegan second part skates to a flower travilin band song has tranny and rail stuff. Marissa del santo has a full part prolly the sickest girl skater ever. Elissastemer, gilley, sandoval, and a few people I haven't heard of are in montages brockman has a crazy part but he's lame, jamie thomas has a part that's all filmed in a warehouse its kinda short but solid and its put together cool. Dane burman has a part with the insanest ender. Chris cole and tom asta share a part cole has an insane ender and they skate to jeezy it is amazing. Tacowny last part. Also rattray has a part. Ill post more if I remember.

video was sick! Tom Asta was super steezy and probably my fave, Cole killed it of course, Garrett was insane, Brockman was sick, Marissa puts alot of dudes to shame, and Tancowny closed it out...all in all it was a sick vid!

The jeezy song was something with the "turn my swag on" instrumental. l mean everyone was screaming during the whole part so it could have been someone who sounds like jeezy, or a song with a bunch of different rappers. Also I just remembered that the steamer/donovan/iforgotwho else/cervantes/sandoval shared part/montage had "never marry a railroad man" by the shocking blue. As far as the rest of the soundtrack, everyone in the theatre was screaming so loud that I couldn't recognise anything. Rattray skated to what kinda sounded like pentagram, brockman skated to some metal song, tacowny skated to something that sounded like led zeppelin but I'm pretty sure wasent. sheldon is in a montage.....also the video is only like a half hour or so long, and hill, burman, cole/asta, and tacowny are the only parts that exceed a few minutes long. On a similar note, word is that the slave video will be in shops in a week or so, and is very cheap

i don't know if this is just my opinion or not but I'm going to say this anyways,

I'd rather see another zero vid in maybe 4-5 years. if you release it annually, it kind of lose something in the process and it won't really mean anything anymore to see a new zero video. it's like your videos are being turned into some kind of vapid marketing commodity. please don't do that.

I see your point, and agree with it to an extent. But jamie is looking at this how kids see it. You start a video when a kid is 12, and by the time it comes out he's almost 16. A lot can happen or change about skating in that time period. Not to mention everyone on the team has other obligations. Sadly footage is the main factor how we measure a skaters worth, if someone goes 6 months without dropping something people assume they've fallen off or are over it. So waiting a few years to drop another video isn't really the best idea if you want to stay fresh in skaters minds. I read it on here all the time. If you don't put out a part a year you are written off and forgotten about. I don't feel this way but the masses do, hence why a site like the berrics is so damn successful. There is no attention span or memory for the masses, they can't be bothered with anticipation.
Relevancy is key in marketing skateboarding today, regardless of your perspective on who falls into that. Obviously people make a living off a name without doing much, but I see those days as being numbered shortly. Fuck I hate this mindset but I can see that without an extremely strict schedule for releasing coverage you become the next steve durante.
