I'm usually an IPA guy (Jai Alai, Daisy Cutter, Hop Nosh) but I've been going off my usual grid and crushing Carlsberg these past 2 weeks. Nothing mind blowing, standard German style pilsener. But it has a great taste with a slightly bitter finish.

Been drinking quite a bit of Cellarmaker lately. Helps that they are kinda on the way home from work. Went to Santa Cruz yesterday and picked up a couple bottles and a growler fill at Sante. Also checked out Corralitos Brewing Company. The beer there is really good and the taproom is pretty awesome.

Dude.

I accidentally bought some Bintang Radlers once. The label is very similar and I'm colourblind so I thought it was regular old Bintang catpiss. Bintang Radler is handsdown the most foul liquid I have ever tasted. I'm not willing to entertain the idea that there is a good one out there.

New Belgium collab just hit NJ so should be in NY soon. My vacations starts tomorrow and my first stop is Tired Hands for the release. Also received a nice Trillium collab package in the mail.

Rampant is my favorite beer and a great double IPA. Citradelic has a nice citrus taste for an IPA, while Ranger is mediocre. I never cared for Fat Tire but I'm not a huge fan of amber ales. I just picked up the Folly pack on the way back from work:

I've been wanting to try the watermelon-lime ale for a while, but didn't want to grab a six pack.

BrewDog's Punk IPA is probably my favorite, if whatever bar I'm in has it I'm gonna be buying at least one.

If I'm just drinking with friends or whatever I usually stick to Carlsberg or some other cheap pilsner though.

I personally just love a cold Corona with a lime in it on a hot summer day. It really doesn't get much more refreshing than that.

Sweetwater has a seasonal pineapple IPA out called "Going Coastal". Cheesy name but I swear I could drink that stuff till I drowned.

Other Halfs release tomorrow is awesome. I had Debbie Downer months ago and liked it even though they didn't like it and scrapped it. Glad they decided to brew it again. Also the Mouteka + Galaxy Jawn is absolutely delicious. Trillium doing cans now is pretty rad, but the bottles are what set them apart from everyone. Has anyone else had Heady lately? Just got a fresh 4pk and it's the second experience in which it tasted awful and not right.

Lately been real hyped on Trader Joe's Simpler Times lager. Only $3.49 a six pack and it's 6.2 abv so it does the job nicely. Not amazing taste wise, but you get what you pay for.

I saw that and was amazed at the price. I'll have to give it a try, thanks for the input

Anybody remember these? Was like 3 bucks for a sixer. At wallgreens or something. We bought the store out in 3 days. That was the best beer.

Duke, big flats was my shit! Barely found out it was discontinued yesterday. Even made a full length video called "spark city flats" because the whole video was filmed, edited, n premiered under the influence of flats. Have the big flats shirt, I swear I may have drank more flats than any other human. Dunno how to embed a video, but this is the flats video.  https://vimeo.com/34801473

Corona or Wernesgruner.

Does anyone brew beer? I've been looking at some models and gaining knowledge. Buying beer is a hyper ripoff in Canada. Some 473ML cans go for 3$, that's 20 bucks for a 6 pack. I'd much rather brew it myself so any tips appreciated.

All Grimms shit is killer. I met Joe Grimm at a tap takeover at Double Windsor and he was so cool. Their new spot should be opening soon so their stuff will be easier(sort of) to obtain. I'm hoping they drop some fresh Tesseract soon. Definitely a favorite of mine along with the super spruce.

founders all day is really good. shiner bock ruby red bird is my go to summer beer, but its probably going to be hard to find now since its seasonal and everyone has switched to octoberfest beers now. stiegl radler is really good too if you like grapefruit beers.

what would you compare it to taste wise?

I'm headed to Russian River in a few weeks. Stoked.
