Where I live in Bend Oregon, it's definitely a craft beer mecca. RPM by Boneyard is my favorite IPA and GoodLife's Sweet As is one I can drink whenever. It's 6%, super tasty, and really easy to drink. If you like beer, you should come visit Bend.

Any good recommendations for a light summer beer? Trying to drink something new this weekend

Corona or Wernesgruner.

Does anyone brew beer? I've been looking at some models and gaining knowledge. Buying beer is a hyper ripoff in Canada. Some 473ML cans go for 3$, that's 20 bucks for a 6 pack. I'd much rather brew it myself so any tips appreciated.

I don't, but you should listen to brewing network. Tons of home brew knowledge and general beer geekery. Great stuff.

This thread is huuuugh.

Anyway, just wanted to say Karl Strauss Aurora Hoppyalis is a really nice IPA. Also Boat shoes hazy is excellent as well.

Every time I go visit in Ontario I try as many different tallboys as possible, this Zodiac IPA is one of few I’ve really wanted to stock up on.

Also went to a brewery out there called Prince Eddy’s that had some really great beer.  Their Haze Brigade 3.0 and Pitted Peach Wheat was really good, as was this sour I tried but can’t remember the name of, and I’m not usually big on sours.

Weirdly I cannot stomach lagers or pilsners anymore. They make me sick. It's weird. At first I thought it was all beer but I have come to realize that ales and Kolsch still agree with me. I never liked stouts or porters.

Here's an old faithful I often get.

Any of Charlestowne Fermentory IPAs
There was an interview with TK, when he was a plumber. He got asked if he gets recognized on the job and his response was "No. Plumbin in disguise." Everyone on SLAP thought he said "put him in the sky"

Love Grimm. Just went to Evil Twin for the first time the other day. So many sour IPAs.

Trying to get to Other Half soon.

I'm usually an IPA guy (Jai Alai, Daisy Cutter, Hop Nosh) but I've been going off my usual grid and crushing Carlsberg these past 2 weeks. Nothing mind blowing, standard German style pilsener. But it has a great taste with a slightly bitter finish.

You say German style, yes - but just to clarify and make sure that there's no misunderstandings, this is Danish!  :)

Agreed but that's North Coast Brewing out of Fort Bragg... Lost Coast is a bit further up in Eureka. Pranqster's another good one from them.

Terrapin IPA Survival Kit is pretty shalom. The last two kits I picked up had Senor Krunkles as the exclusive one, apparently there are other packs too. All of them have the hi 5, hoppsecutioner, and recreation.

Tsingtao and Coors Banquet in a bottle.

After making fun of Coors forever, I finally had a draft Coors Light and I must say, delicioso. I used to guzzle growlers of IPA when I cooked at a brewery, but now, hops makes me sick - I stick to Pilsners like Bitburger these days.

Yeah, Craft beer has a limit.  These days I got for plain and cold.  Cass or Orion are my personal favorites, as long as they're ice cold.

Adroit Theory has some decent IPAs my local gets there day after the canned date.  They just did a stout colab with Cushwas, which is in my little town. Cushwas had his IPAs too. What's wrong with similar beers if they're still good?
Lawson's sip of sunshine still may be my favorite on a summer day.

Mate don't get me wrong, i'll smash any Grifter any day, but for a regular sip, keep it chill.  Cascade Lager from Tasmania is the kings piss.
