Favorite Beer
« on: July 09, 2009, 03:14:53 PM »
I'm not too picky with beer when it's at a party but when I buy my own it has to be Corona. Kingfisher is second best, to me, but it's more expensive and I don't know where it's from. I never bothered to look it up.

What's your favorite beer?

We aint got PBR in Norway, but we got some Budweiser, and to tell you, it aint cheap. Like 3-4 bucks for 0.5l.

I like Dahls!

Boston.

I grew up with Heineken. Sure, it's bitter, but I don't mind it. My dad hates domestics.

I'd like to try Red Stripe just for the cute stumpy bottles.

Pacifico, Carta Blanca, Dos Equis, Corona, Olde English (only in 40 form), PBR's ok, High Life is good, New Castle (even though the bottles always smell sulfuric), Heineken, Peroni, Yella Pills, Fat Tire isn't bad, Tsing Tao, Killians... Pretty much all of them except bud light or lime flavored.

If I had to pick my favorite I'd say

Heineken.

Kona (all of em)
San Miguels
Hinanos
Spaten Optimator
Corked Beer
Scotch Ale's, IPA's, Pale Ale's,
Domestics
Imports
Shots and then smoke some weed in the parking lot,

This shit is gross but when you're broke...

I don't get super tanked every night, but a couple of those equals out to a six'er and gives me a nice buzz.  Hopefully I'll be able to afford beer that tastes good soon.

How much does this cost? When I'm low on money, I buy a six pack of Budweiser for $5.

I'm a Budweiser guy and everyone knows it. Preferably tall cans. One time I was even at a skatepark in a city three hours away from me drinking a Budweiser and this ghetto kid came up to me and was like "Hey man I know you." And I was like "Nah dude, I'm not even from here." And he was like "Yeah I know, you're from Saskatoon, you're always drinkin those beers!" I realized, damn, this kid MUST know me.

But lately I've been on a streak of Corona in the bottle.

And when you're in Japan there's nothing better than rolling around drinking tall cans of Kirin all day.

I'm from Canada where 6'ers cost 12 bucks.  Two Faxe is 6 bucks, half a sixer but twice as strong.  I thankfully came across a few bucks though so I'm gonna pick up my one or two of my faves;

I had a 40 of that the other day and it was pretty gross for the last swig so I agree.
I'm having an "800" in the 40 form again, right now.

There are so many better beers in Japan, I mean Kirin is good, and they have a bunch of good varieties in addition to regular Kirin actually but my top 5 Japanese brews are

Orion

Yebisu

Echigo

Suntory

Asahi
