indy/venture. go wiegh an independent and compare to every other truck. no differance exept they last and they turn

I found thunders to be a mix between indy and venture.

They are. I went from riding Trackers in '87,'88,Motobilts in '89, Gullwings in 1990,1991 to ventures in '92,93 and stepped up to Thunders in '94 and have had Indy's since 95...it's all personal preference.

ehhhhhhhh fuck them. Alot of hype, nothing special. The hangar on mine managed to bend 5 months in even though I don't jump down drops. Go with tensors (are they still around?)

I never tried any of those new ones the get ex: evo or mids. But I had the reguar ones. The only problem I had I could not turn on those trucks, chnaged the bushings loosened the nut. Still couddnt turn with em.

i got a new pair of royals from a friend two weeks ago and already 2 of the bushings are broken and the pivot cup rubber thingy is broken to
and the axle is slipping real bad

venture is really the only thing to skate...i skated a pair of silvers when it first came out to see what it was about and they were decent but those lil axle protectors ruined it for me.

Ventures = haven't skated them in years but when I did they were okay.
Royal = skated okay but nothing special unless you like the colors
Indy = good except when the axles bend/slip
Thunder = same as Indy except better colors and hi/low

Probably the only four trucks I've ridden that I'd consider buying again. Royal and Venture not so much though since those were only average in my opinion.

Orion = super crappy non turning garbage
Tensor = slider thing is fun until you realise they turn crappy

no, until you realise they turn crappy, they dont grind, the kingpin is higher then the hanger, the little bumps on the basplate fuck your board up if your bolts loosen up, the plastic thingy breaks when you slide a lot, the plastic slider doesnt help metal feels so much better, they feel like shit

But in keeping with giving real help, fuck most things and just go with Indy's. Can't go wrong there.

not as bad as tensor..

tensors are weird, it seems that they are very high quality, i never saw one break, even a kingpin (but thats maybe because they dont turn and no pressure is put on it)..
or maybe its the metal they use that grinds like crap, no idea
they are shit.
