If hesh is a way of life and not a style or about clothes then I think alot of people have misconceptions about what being 'hesh' really is. When people say Chris Cole went from 'hesh to fresh' they're generally referring to his style/appearance, which is obviously wrong according to the 'true' definition.

i think what chris cole became can be classified as 'punk'.....it's a shame it doesn't rhyme with anything.......the truth is usually when you're young you're pretty much nothing, styleless...maybe you got a hint of this or that but you aren't planning your shit out....i'm sure back when chris cole was wearing orange pants or whatever he was just thinking....'this is 'skater' wear'....little did he know it could be so complicated....

You could say that Cole went from "Crunk to Punk". I don't think that's the correct spelling of Crunk though. Maybe it is.
