Gino I believe is over it. He locked himself in a hotel for 2 weeks recently and basically lost his mind/anxiety/panic attack. Choco told him he's done and they're sick of it.

Maybe Nike felt the same way too. Gino is good but he's 32/33 and he doesn't seem like someone who's going to just go out and skate. Seems like he's more into chillin with Reda and drinking coffee.

I have friends that work at Girl/Choco, Podium and have skated the Girl Park and they say he's kinda neurotic. He bails on tours and locks himself in hotels for 2 weeks. After awhile you get sick of it and have to cut your loses and look at the kids that are coming up.

He will always be one of my favorite skaters though but maybe his time is done.

if he stopped after the chocolate tour he would have a pretty fucking amazing back catalogue,

Also, to all the people that have said he should just "be kept on cuz he's OG"/pissed at Choc that he's off you can tell if a name still sells by how many deck series they are in. If you look at the Girl/Choco catalogs recently him, York and Mulder weren't on very many board series. That's usually a sign the name doesn't sell anymore. Business is business and they don't want to waste money.
