here's another one from the roster
neal hendrix new deal deck from 1991. the double kick was around for a couple years at the time, so the shape wasn't anything groundbreaking. i saw one of these go for $600 last year, but i like to skate mine. it even has those terrible turning gullwing street shadows. the ones with the plastic baseplate and axles that slip by pushing on them

fuck you bama

Middle board is used as my cruiser.

8.75" AH (WB is too small, you can tell just by comparing it to the 8.5" decks next to it)
ACE 66s
Indy 1/8" shock pads
60mm BONES ATFs
Zealous bearings
MOB
Bolts

what is the SMA board? and where did you get it?

It's and SMA 'Eight five' (can't really see it but that's written just under the back truck), setup with ACE 55s w/magnesium baseplates/Bones Meds/MOB/56.5mm Pi wheels/Black Panther 7s.

They're made in SoCal, I live in Santa Monica and the local shop near me carry them/tons of people around here use them (I love blocks away from a bowl/crete park where the team skates).

Tail is a bit tapered/narrow for my liking but I've moved up to 8.5" for street and swapped my Cardiel from bowl to street and needed a bowl board again (the SMA).

SMA on the Left: (tail is a bit pointy but other than that, it's very nice, plys are thin/board is light), AH Cardiel on the right.

When I found out about them I knew Id' ride'em. Hard to beat a local company in your city, especially when it's SMA. They're high quality for sure, tho they do carry a premium at the shops: $60 as they are all hand-made/stained and no two are a like.

If you are interested in getting one and they don't respond let me know and we can work something out. The shops usually have limited stock as they sell out VERY fast.

Thanks man. I'm not an expert on cruiser wheels or anything but I'd say they are good- super smooth and quiet.

G & S Fibreflex from the mid 70's.
Small Indies (126?). Remember when they came in those sizes? 126, 136, etc. Stage 7 maybe? Whatever the last version that still had the old mounting holes is.
Softies that my buddy gave me.
And that is one of my cats (Osita) on it.
This thing has been getting me around the neighborhood for at least 12 years now.

Most of these are awesome, I think I'm going to set one up.  Going to get OJ Keyframes, just can't decide between what Welcome shape.  It's between the Banshee 86 and the Helm of Awe(sum).  Seriously might come down to the graphic, ha.  Anybody have experience with either shape?

Its so fun. The shape is really goofy. Super short.

Sick! When you make cut designs in the grip tape like that, do you cut the grip and then apply it or do you apply it and run an exacto knife over the deck itself?  I've always been intrigued by these sick cut designs on people's grip but never really understood the proper way to do it

just cut the grip in two pieces and make a little gap

I think they're classics. If not, big heads, but not like a conical or a full if that's what you're wondering.

Peaced out the the Mike V shape by doing lipslides on a curb. Bummer cause it was a rad board, cool, cause this is the first board I've broken in like 15 years.

So this here Jason Adams shape will be the new liquor store rig.
