I have the same set-up from this video. White lightning zagger, Zinger wheels and thunders. I can't find my camera wire to upload a photo

after many years of setting up XL boards with big old trucks and 60mm wheels here and there and enjoying it but not really loving it, i went the other way- zip zinger nano, the smallest indys, and some 54 softies from powell- and i'm so stoked. gave it a sticker job with lots of my favorites from yesterday and today to give the visual stoke a boost too. it goes so fast, turns really quick, i can ollie without it feeling like i'm trying to jump a wet log. lately i've been feeling like i could just have this board the rest of my life and get everything i want out of skateboarding from it. well not everything, but it's so much fun...

^^^^I need to do that. I like the Zinger shape and everything but when I have the wheels on it, it makes it super heavy to me. I want to try a set up with regular wheels and smaller trucks and see how that feels. It might not be really ideal for city cracks in the streets but I want something that I can actually flip with no problem. Maybe DLX will have a new nano graphic I can get.

I got tre flips on mine. It's not that much different. And it's way better for beer runs and bombing hills and shit.

little bit less lame if you can ollie on it but it is just making it more difficult to ollie so i dont see the point other than the big wheels which you can put on a normal board

i've actually done the highest 360 flips of my life on my little nano- because it's smaller and lighter and has a shorter wheelbase, it pops up really fast. feels great. i would never ride anything i couldn't ollie up a curb on most definitely. on a cruiser i just want to be able to jam around, ollie up curbs, bonk off sidewalk cracks, snap off curb cuts, wallie parking blocks, huck the periodic 360 flip, and i can do all that- which is precisely why i didn't like the big cruisers. it's just a different feeling than a regular board, puts you in a different mood. skate whatever and however you like, that's the whole point.

can't say i've seen a single board in here i couldn't ollie up a curb on, even that joe sector, we used to use it as a shop board when i worked for the gaytility and it still did the job.

seriously though. if you can't ollie a board, no matter what size, you're blowing it. you should be able to ollie up a curb on a damn 2x4. i can do that on a deck alone with no trucks. i mean come on. most cruisers are only 1-2 inches bigger than a normal board and maybe it's my age, but i was doing all kinds of flip tricks on my old ron allen mini (89 bitches!). that thing would definitely be a cruiser by today's standards. here it is:

i'll post pics of my actual cruiser when i get home.

kind small pic but it's a Lucero Emergency board, really sick, perfect for cruising to the store. You'd have to be mental to not be able to ollie up a curb on one of these suckers, I got switch tre's on it.

I was thinking of picking up this;

Or this

The "Suck it" one is hilarious but it's the size of a regular board (8.25 x 32.5). But the nano is only 7.25 x 29 and that just seems so tiny to me. But the nano maybe a better bet because I need to size up my indys, from the 129s i am currently riding to the 139s I would like to be riding, and I could put my old trucks on the nano. It sucks that I just used all my spare parts to build a board for my little brother and I now have to buy all brand new shit.

yeah a nano is calling me

and i know it would just end up in the trunk of my car while my regular board got all the attention still

your clever ploy won't work on me Mr. Thiebaud!!

and get an old bum from the street to be the referee for one game, should be interesting

It's good for cruising around but the tail is so short you can't really ollie.

^^^That Delphi one is sick...even if it is Element. Nice collection though. I actually skated with you one time and you know my boy Robby and he is super cool with Yong-Ki. That Solitary Art one goes for big money if it is brand new.

I found a beat up, kid sized, Flip deck with Phantom trucks at the park.  Once I get put wheels on it that'll be my cruiser.
