My new baby. Flip P2 David Gonzales, Diamond Ace 33's, 54mm OJ Keyframes (87A), Pig Rails, Indy mounting hardware and generic ceramic bearings. So much fun!  ;D

this has probably been asked in this thread somewhere but how are those OJ Keyframes?  I want something faster than the spitfire 80's but still soft enough to cruise down the cratered street I live on.

They're  pretty good smooth over cracks and rough asphalt, worth a try.

Your 80HD's are slow? Mine are super fast! The keyframes are the same, soft wheel. There might be a duro difference but I can't tell. Try Soft D's, like 92s.

eh not exactly slow, that wasn't the right word... i'm not sure what it is but it's almost like they're too smooth?  I was riding Powell Bombers for awhile and those felt great, just don't get smaller than 60.. and i have this neurotic thing about wanting my cruiser to be as close to my regular board as possible.

The new daily commuter:

Welcome Miller w/mob m-80
ACE 55s w/88a indy aftermarket bushings and magnesium plates
60mm Bones ATFs / Andale 7s
1/8" indy shock pads
1" Indy bolts

You can just barely see the edges of the wheels due to how much the board tapers.
[close]

That looks really nice. Are you rocking soft wheels? They look small.
Curious to try the ATF's, if there anything like the old DTF's(I think they just might have changed the name of the formula?), they are great comprise between hard and soft, both smooth and pretty easily slid

It tapers and I felt 159 fit a little too big. Thank you

I rode a set of the Blue 55mm Kryptonics for almost 10 months, they are the best cruiser wheel I have tried to date, super solid wheel, wore evenly, the fastest soft wheel ever, and very smooth on any surface even the worst roads. Only reason I took them off was because I chunked one doing a slappy on a curb and tore up the inner lip of the wheel. Will be buying a few more sets for sure, may even take it up to the Red Formula, I'd say avoid the green unless you have really awful roads to deal with, the biggest problem with the Green Kryptos & OJ Mini Hot juice is that 78A is just to soft, that's a lot of what leads to them ripping and cracking so quickly

^ Nice one!  Still one of my favorite series in the last 5+ years.

I don't really skate it as a cruiser but I just swapped out my street axe with this new street plant 8.875

Does anyone have a recommendation for truck size? I'm stuck between Indy 159 or 169 and Ace 66 or 55

It would depend on what wheels you are running but I wouldn't go bigger than 159's due to the taper on the board.

OG mountain future primitive in relatively good condition will be worth a decent amount of money if you want to part with it rather than skate it.

Gonna slap on 159's and mess with regular wheels. Maybe Spitfire 80HDs

Ya I will most likely go that route. Would you suggest leaving it complete or trying to sell just the deck?
