That thing is a beaut, hope you are back rolling soon dude. I'm fighting the urge to buy a new cruiser that I completely don't need right now.

Thanks man. I'm pretty hyped on it also. I think it'll be a while longer before I can skate properly, but even just cruising down the street is awesome IMO. Setting it all up a few days ago didn't help my urge to go skate at all but instead made it a lot worse.  :)

I also feel you on the urge to buy stuff you don't need. Especially now that I'm home all day doing nothing and thinking about skating way too much. Just gotta keep strong.

I have it like that on purpose. If I flip them they stick out on the other side and drag against the ledge a lil for nose/tailslides, they're soft rubber ones.

Noseslides and tailslides on a cruiser board? They had better be slapped or else you're not cruisering right.

haha, slapped and non slapped. there's a ledge outside the building I usually study in at school and I'll skate it between classes sometimes. For a lot of non technical tricks it's close enough to a regular setup.

How far do the OJ hot juice extend past the axles? If you want your wheels flush, should you go 1/4", 1/2", 1" smaller on your truck size?

I used to do 129's on an 8.5 that was flush with the OJ 60mms, so 1/2" or so?

Any recommendations for cruiser wheel/bearing setup?

Edit: just read the above suggestions for the bombers, those looks decent. Still lost when it comes to bearings though. I've only skated flip HKD bearings for my entire skate life.

I'd recommend super redz! I've been riding some on my main set-up and they're real fine 8)

Not as expensive as swiss/six balls, but seem smoother and tougher than plain redz.

Bones Bearings with Spitfire 80HD Bigheads work miracles for my cruiser, especially where it's super rough. Can't really do tricks though.

I suggest OJs Keyframes and whatever bearings you like. As for wheel size, the bigger they are, the smoother the ride. I'm running 54 mm Keyframes on my other cruiser with a normal popsicle deck and the only difference to my main setup (54 mm wheels also) is that it's way grippier and will go much nicer over rough stuff. Then I have another cruiser with 60 mm Ricta Clouds with a shaped deck. Even though I prefer Keyframes to Clouds, the set up with the Clouds goes smoother due to the bigger wheel size. You do notice the bigger wheel size when pushing especially since I put risers on that setup but I don't really mind it as the point was to set up a wide and smooth ride, not something similar to my main setup. So, it really depends on what you want from your cruiser.
