About to bus 1.5 hours to an undercover parkinglot with nothing but a couple manual pads, and you can get kicked out pretty fast. Then I'll bus home again.

New York Transit Strike!!

if it wasn't so cold, it would be great for skating.
i love skating the streets when they're blocked off for
water main breaks, street fairs or construction.

well we've got a thread of things we're stoked on so what things are just generally pissing you off?

Rain
Finding out they stopped making the es penny's and the penny 2 looks a lot worse

Wow, i think the Penny 2, in various colorways, looks sick, especially that brown on brown and then the white/elephant.  Differing opinions are important, though. But, I agree with you antihero, no more Penny 1's sucks man, those shoes were a great skate.

I'm pissed at having to rebuild my life in a new city (long story), having to work for what I deem an unacceptably low hourly wage (albiet, it's temporary), having to work on Christmas Eve until 6, New Years Eve until 9 (I guess no NYC mission), and then having to be at work on on New Year's Day at 1:00.  Apart from the lack of travilability it's cool though, as I don't drink or take drugs anymore.
I'm pissed I don't have an extremely attractive girlfriend.

New Era hats beign too pricey
my best freinds in teh world living scattered across the country.

I'm pissed and fed up with having to go to either AA or NA meetings every night for the next 60 or so days.  Thanks for reading, maybe I'll have more to bitch about later.

Yup, I had about 65 days of rehab, now I live in a sober house.  It seems like you already know, but at rehab one of the things they pump into you is that it helps your chances of continued sobriety immensely if you attend 90 meetings in your first 90 days out of rehab.  I have been at this sober now since November 10th, so I am 44 days into the 90/90, then I can back off a little bit and catch maybe 3 to 5 meetings a week or however I deem.  Thank you very much for the support and wishing me luck.

I used to post here a couple years ago as markfarina, if anyone remembers or cares. but thanks.

yeah...heh...kind of clowning on myself, and if you can't do that, then something is also very wrong.  and on the term itself.  it's kind of like calling herb reefer or "kind bud". Anyway, my problems of unmanagability lay mostly in the alcohol department, but included a little of everything. Definately not pround of it though, "don't get it twisted", as they say.  And I love sarcasm, but I take this whole thing seriously for myself.  hell, it took me out of skating for a while, not like I am the first or anything.

Not being able to skate for the last seven months and wondering if I will ever be able to skate again (doctors are unsure) which has resulted in me coming on this messageboard way too much. Not stoked.

fell off my board while pushing in the street (to drop off movies at blockbuster off all places), and to my surprise came a van and ran it over. board split, rear truck axles bent. so much for running errands.

going to see if i can salvage my ventures.
