bought this before a bus ride cause it's the only skate mag at port authority... that web feature is just a clip, the full article had interviews with paul rodriguez and ed templeton and a few other people plus longer interviews with the people they did include

basically everyone agreed that his appeal in his sheer effortless, and the fact that he looked like he wasn't even thinking about what trick he was even going to do.  not like a "style" thing either, but something inate in his being, like you really BELIEVED he didn't even know what was going on even though he must have. and reynolds says some real spit, like "[leaving the country and the spotlight] is what he's supposed to do, that's how legends are."

what does paul say?

pretty much the same as everyone else, says he had an hour and a half long tape of all penny's clips from high five on that he watched everyday.  he also tells a story about being really nervous to meet tom and having sweaty palms and everything.
