In the real world, it was pro surfer Phil Edwards who had the first pro model skateboard, made by Makaha. Look it up.

yes, for sure, it'd remain, maybe not as big, but it would still be there.

not really sure, on the one hand, maybe because people have to put out good shit to get paid it forces people to think and since thats not there, skating suffers. on the other hand, since it doesn't matter, people might not be afraid to put out certain kinds of tricks and we would see all sorts of cool new shit, skateboarding triumphs.

salman agah 8.0 black label. the one with a bomb on it. i think it was 2001 maybe when i got it. i beat the living shit out of that board. thing had a nub for a tail after riding it for a year straight.

i looked it up and it said he only had the first pro surfboard. it didn't say anything about a skateboard.
