This thread might be dead, but I'll reply anyway: I don't mind a switch mongo push. A lot of guys make it look good like Carroll, Leo Valls and Kalis. Back in the 90's pushing switch mongo was the norm - I think we was just called it pushing fakie, no such thing as switch mongo back then. When did people start saying switch mongo anyway? I started pushing switch regular after seeing Ricky Oyola's part in Eastern Exposure - around 96 or 97, I think. He looked really good doing it, so I wanted to give it a try - and I've stuck with it since then. Yeah, but it always felt a little strange doing fakie tricks after pushing switch. Doing switch tricks felt more natural after a switch regular push than a switch mongo one. Anyways, doesn't really matter how you push ( as long as you're not pushing regular mongo!), if you got a good push you got a good push. Period!
