i'm stoked. i saw the first 4 minutes of these weeks episode and it's juliet banging the warhead (that's what he said), the explosion, and then jack is back on flight 815 across from rose. 
i'm betting the skeletons in the jungle that they found in season 1 are jack and kate.

alright i'm gonna nerd out and talk more about it. i seriously only want to know about the monster. i don't even really care about anything now that juliet is a stain on the wall of that well.  the only thing i want to know is what the monster is made of, what intentions it has, and how can it be destroyed.  once we find that out, i want to make sure nobody destroys it, because it smashes people and that's awesome to me.

i think the monster is the man in black who said he wanted to kill jacob, that is apparently now locke... some podcasts with the producers have confirmed that the monster manifests itself into other people... eko's brother yemi, jack's dad christian, ben's daughter alex... all whose bodies were on the island, including now, locke. the "loophole" was the fact that they could not kill each other... one of the rules, i guess... like ben and widmore being unable to kill each other. i'm thinking the people that look like they are crucifying sayid are more people on the stature of jacob and that man, and that the oceanic/present day time people will now be at war with them because of killing jacob, or at least trying to... but damn if i have any idea hahzaha i'm reeeally high right now.

there's been a hugh conflict between white v. black through the whole series (games that are played between walt and locke, charlie's slip-on's, the stones...) so when i see jacob in white, the dude in black...that makes a lot of sense.  I had read that dude was the monster and appears as a black horse to kate, christian in white to jack, yemi in black and white to eko...etc.
so the island might be like atlantis and a playground for gods?  obviously jacob isn't toast yet but i'm really stoked to see why and how he visited each and every one of survivors that he did...and why he visited some of them as children pre-crash, and some of them after they are rescued (hurley & sayid).  why the fuck is he always touching them too.

oooooh i never noticed the colors in the manifestations, good call. i'm gonna have to look those up. it is possible that we'll see more of jacob off the island at other huge points in their life... like he's making sure the path they are on will lead them to the island or something? the "playground for the gods" thing is a good way to put it.

I can just see you & Tweak having hours-long conversations about this. I think I may finally give it a try, but I'm so far back now there's almost no point. There's two houses full of our friends hosting this show every Tuesday up here, so I'd just find out what happened before I'd be able to run it's course. It sounds super intriguing.

After months of inner conflict with whether or not I should watch it, I just saw the pilot episode. Jesus titty-fucking Christ. My heart hasn't pumped that much over a TV show--and in the first ten minutes too--in a long time. See you later homework, hello Netflix account. It'll be a while, but I hope to discuss symbols & themes and all that shit in the future.

From the looks of it, it seems like Jack, Sawyer and the rest of the part of the crew that was stuck in the 70's got blasted back to the super earlier times, at least that's what it seems like from the clips in the trailer. This season should be interesting, I'm super hyped. I just hope I can make it back from class in time to not miss any of it.

the last i saw of lost was somewhere in the beginning of season 2. the long breaks killed my spark and i never saw it again. must have been back on '05 or something

Usually spanish subtitles appear 5 to 7 days later than the episode.

But I think that with all the hype for this season there would be groups of argetinian geeks (http://www.argenteam.net/) working their asses off to get the thing done as soon as possible.

By the way, if your roommate doesn't understand english watch it by yourself and tell him to wait just one week 'cause I think cuatroº is going to play the first episode translated just next tuesday.
