how come its only minorities that are held accountable for the actions of a single person from their race?
a white woman goes on a shooting spree in alabama and you all turn your head the other way.
a black man starts some petty shit on a bus with a old white guy and the internet goes wild.
give me a fucking break.
We didn't "all turn our heads the other way." most of the media didn't say shit about the crazy bitch that killed the teachers and her brother years ago. The only reason this thread is a topic is because there's a video and it's fucking funny.
you're missing the point. when white people commit crimes, their actions are isolated.
when minorities commit crimes, it becomes a representation* of the entire race.
examples:
the woman that taped the altercation stole the man's bag = (youtube comment speak) niggers are theives. shes such a nigger. etc...
a white man holds a girl captive for 18 years = isolated incident. white people aren't rapists/abductors, just that guy.
gang violence in a predominately black neighborhood (the hood) occurs = black people are violent and you should be afraid of them
two white kids kill a bunch of their classmates in columbine = isolated incident. nothing to be afraid of just a pair of kids listening to marilyn manson.
a white woman is denied a tenured position and shoots her co-workers = again an isolated incident.
do i need to go on? there are so many more examples. when have white people ever be subject to the actions of a single person from their race?
it seems like never. i can't even think of a deragotory term to label the white people who are crazy because there are none. if there was a term and everytime some shit went down i started using it, i can't imagine you being exactly tickled by the statements i'd be making.
what is funny about this? a white man makes a derogatory comment, offends someone then beats the shit out of him and somehow its his fault.
