I once dark-slid all the way through to the axle, through the board, base-plate, bushings and kingpin, and landed it.

Yes, I'm a fan of the slappy.
For a while, I was really stoked on the idea of grinding these down until they actually broke. But I'm going to take them off while they still have a little life left and use them for a cruiser type set up.

Recently retired these and put them on my cruiser. Once I get a good amount of axel showing on my back truck, I rotate my hangers and grind the other one down. I mostly skate pool coping and go through a pair of trucks in about a year.

Nah, I'm over making boards. Things changed over time and after a while everyone I was skating and filming with rode for other board companies and it didn't make sense for me to make boards anymore. I'm in the process of rebranding Gnarhammered into a video production company under a new name.

Still lots of life yet in these 151s but they look better and better every session.

Y’all be grinding too much.
I have some indys that I’m gonna be nursing grinds out of for the rest of my life and hopefully I’ll never hit the axle.

Apart from Mini ramp groove - in which case, you are allowed a pass, Grinding down to the axle means either you are a kid, un sponsored or can't afford new trucks. you're a man.

Why would you change your trucks before the axel starts to peek?

Not looking forward to breaking in new 151s. Old ones are cracked but probably had a few more sessions in them...

That's sick! I just got addicted to the grooved trucks IG and can look at these photos for hours.

Been mainly doing slappies over the last 12 months and it’s eating my trucks alive. Been breaking in a new curb and it’s basically waxed with half of my truck

Started to hit axle in the middle of my Ace 33 here.

Hope everyone's getting out and getting some.
