Wes is one of the best guys out there.

which one? the fs shove bs nosegrind was slo mo'd. i love that trick, they way his back foot was just raised with the front foot on the nose, then it hits the hubba and the tail end of the board smacks up to his back foot. looked amazing. watched this part about ten times or so since the first watch, gets better every time.

wasn't feeling that first line, mostly cause the filmer was a million miles behind him and the sound of the skating was way too loud and distracting
[close]
Shit! I was thinking the exact same but I thought I was just crazy about the balance of the volume of music to the sound of skating.

glad i'm not the only one. i figured i'd get responses saying the sound of skating is more important that the music but i like a clear balance of the two.
I actually really liked how you could just barely hear the song.

the more i watch the part, the more i agree with this sentiment. gives it a nice raw feeling to the part. i guess i was just expecting a part more like the sk8 mafia part production-wise, which i felt was edited pretty great.
