It's this gnarly bank to rail down the street from my house. I don't know whose skated it, I've never seen any footy of it before, but the roll up has bondo and the rail overly waxed.

grant taylor does a bs crooks on it in volcom's holy stokes.

It looks like a skatepark obstacle!

Can you skate those two bumps that are in the background?

That image is of a common prefabricated obstacle from the midcentury modern playground era. There's one in New York I have seen people skate in one of the lurknyc videos.

You should check this out: https://www.instagram.com/playgroundland/

I have actually skated a few different spots they posted in that IG account.

That handi-cap rail you cut off in the photo to the right was 50-50'd by Steve Nesser maybe 13 years ago. Scott Bourne almost boardslid it almost 20 years ago. Think about that next time you walk by. It kinks side to side like an 'S', so gnarly!

that's amazing i definitely considered if people skated that but I vividly remember saying to myself, "there is no way"

wheres the footage of the nesser trick??

Been staying in a new part of town and I've been going out spot hunting every chance I get. found these this week, nothing too crazy just a mellow bank to curb and a wallride but still tons of fun

Fun little steep banks at “bank of the islands” on sanibel island, about 30 minutes from Fort Meyers, Florida.

This bank spot (I'm assuming it's in L.A.?) that some people have gotten clips and photos at, is in the background of a scene in Gattaca. Rick Howard had an ad at it, and Pat Rakestraw did a wallride into it.

This is a really gorgeous shot of it:

have played tennis at these courts a couple of times. never really thought much of it. must have been that stay gold vs. mindfield debate on here from a few weeks ago that triggered my brain this morning.

i'm just mad that i didn't come across this ten years earlier. would have liked to have contributed to the fake spots discussion. (i realize that ten years is a long time, and that a spot can change, but c'mon - this is borra we're talking about. funnily enough, they've now put in some nice bleachers, as if to troll the poor guy.)

edit: yeah, he definitely brought those benches. just saw the same ones used in pj ladd's bangin.
