I just got back into skating recently. I was real sick with the flu and my friend bought me a Thrasher with the Mark Suciu article in it, promoting his filming trip across the East Coast. This article alone inspired me to get off my ass and start skating again, and I have had the Cross Continental part on repeat for a couple months. It reminds me of Pappalardo's Mosaic part (obviously), but just has its own flavor, with the song selections, timing, spots, and everything. Great example of skating as an art rather than dumb sport. I'm embarking on my first skate mission tomorrow after receiving my gear in the mail and will have his style and those lines at love in mind.

Also, Adrian Williams in Think's Business as Usual and Busenitz' Double Rock session.

This transferred over from my old Google video account.  Forgot pretty much all about it, pretty shit quality.  My friend Jason (guy with smith at end) is a weirdo, and at the time wanted to build something nearly impossible to skate.  He pretty much did.  I think this was 2005ish.  Sidenote, the tall guy is my friend's brother that is co owner of Tribute, nice guy.  Good company, support them.  He's friends with Silas, so that's why he was there.

Great clip, can't believe your friend took the time to build that when he could have made a normal mini.
Looks solidly built too.

This guys one of my favorite skaters right now, its mind boggling to me this part has a little over 1000 views. Amazing tall guy style, pops every trick super high, plus he has an awesome trick and spot selection. This is what I consider a sick NYC part, everyone needs to see this.

Watched all of these in the last couple days, and they're all great, but it annoys the hell out of me when people just make a list of stuff they like instead of actually posting a good part in this thread.

such a good part, reminds me of suici in many ways, would like to see him pro on Isle too:

skating is all about choosing your outfit very deliberately, going out in public. looking super sick. and then riding your board a little bit

Watching that raw footage of Tom Penny made me think of my friend Brian.  Kind of a similar style on tranny flip tricks.  I wish my buddy skated more, most natural talent on a skateboard than anyone I've ever met.  I think this is mid 90's footage.
