OK boys get it in! they've got a 30 minute jawn from 98 w/ handrails and switch 360 flips. dude at the end got a baby face that belies the gnarly prison tat on his elbow as he and a friend break glass on each other's faces. man, me and my friends are pussies!

The new Austyn Gillette part has been viewed in abundance. Lately I have also been watching a lot of those What Youth videos, specifically that of Brad Cromer and Austin Calvello.

AA in Prevent this Tragedy and Chad Tim Tim A Time to Shine.

Dylan Subject to Change/Gravis

Huf Euro Tour, as I have it on dvd.

Great part, great video, great song. Jaded is the best thing Thrasher has ever done.

Caswell when he still had acne  :-*

I remember being bummed when I bought Jaded when I was younger though, and didn't know how skate videos worked, cause I thought Hsu, Barletta, and MJ were all gonna have full, individual parts. But yeah, it's a great video.

I was thinking recently how it's cool Caswell has skated to a Pedro the Lion song about pacifism, a Weezer cut off the Blue Album, and also a Dead Prez track.

first part is patrick melcher aka dirt hair rich sending it down the pipe to mami! this is not your grandson's melcher, oh no. this patrick melcher wore baggy pants, had thick mane, did muska flips and not all that wavy gravy hipster mess. usedta watch this on vhs, dayne brummet is a quiet killer in a vest.

wow, haven't seen that in a really long time. like, since it first came out. fun seeing all the local spots for me (SD); but only like 20% of them are still skateable. tommy budjanec was so smooth. wonder where he is nowadays? he was always riding these extreme "eastern exposure" setups at that time; with extra huge wheels. just randomly ran into dayne about 6 months ago. he's still rolling.

you're right about his 60mm ass setups. i couldn't relate to his sw bs tail shoves but i liked how his boards looked. i spent a few wks in san diego in 01 and thought something similar like 'this place must've been great to skate 2 yrs ago' even the black round 'tube' jamie rode down was knobbed.
yt comment said budjanec lives in pittsburgh, whether they mean the BART one or the PA one i don't know. dayne sw lipslide a 14!!! awesome you see him around...

Hahaha, I had the complete opposite experience. Jaded was the first video I saw and it blew my mind (you never forget your first video). I still watch it a lot and always come back to it when I'm bored of today's videos, which is often. I love how Tilt Mode/SJ heavy the video is. It was a great introduction to skating for me, got me stoked for life.

Also has an amazing soundtrack!

Been watching the 1995 Radlands thing from 411 #13. I like the Ramones song, Jamie Thomas' benihana, Ed's heelflip, Ray Barbee's style, 18 year old Penny winning and it's fun.

The Reynolds-Heath-Berra part from Anthology just because of the Archers of Loaf song and hearing Reynolds and Berra talking about Heath and how he's the best. And Berra's 3:40 line in the sun at that part of the song; it really hits me, even though it's Steve Berra. I forgot he already skated to the song in 4 Wheel Drive but this is better and doesn't have a 20 second staring contest intro.

For some reason Mind Field has been resonating with me lately. It's good the first time you see it, but multiple watches and I started to realize how gnarly some of stuff I missed was. I've also been on a Dinosaur Jr. kick too though...

Why do some editors put generic guitar music behind mad technical, stomped tricks & then use some rhytmic ghetto crap for some dudes who are just cruising the streets? There's something wrong with music selection.
