he left dvs a long time ago, then went to etnies where he had a shoe, then he left there and has been without a shoe deal for a while.

In his skatetalk episode he talked about leaving etnies because he wanted to ride for a company he respects, instead of just collecting a paycheck.

he talked about it on something maybe it was one of those skate talks if he had one maybe it was his slap pals shit i dont know. but he says something along the lines of "i only want to skate for companies whose stickers i would actually put on my skateboard." and how he thought he could help etnies image or something but that it backfired. if he doesnt get on vans then the entire skateboard community will be bummed because lets be honest, nobody skates in gravis shoes unless they were given to them for free.

im sure he gets shoes for free, and they prob pay him royalties and he gets money for trips, etc...but dill doesnt seem like he wants to be in the spotlight, therefore him getting a big check from vans seems unlikely.

I don't care if he's on the team or whatever, I just want to see Dill's own unique style of skating more. If he's wearing Vans then it will probably look even nicer.
