Yea the Prime team was the same as Color minus Jeremy Wray and Kyle Yanagimoto, but Color was not under World. It was through the Union Wheels guy.

Blue was Jason Lee and Dune yes, who then started Stereo. It was not under World either, think it was actually through the Dorfman guy from Vision etc.

Could this 101 "revival" simply be that Dwindle is going to do some 101 re-issues like the Blind ones that have bee posted recently?

Again, 101 was a product of the 90's. While it was sick back then, It'd be totally irrelevant and corny now. You could have the same team, (both pre and post girl ) and it still would still lame in todays HD/High budget/Chaz douchebag/Monster drink landscape. Just leave it be.

a minor footnote in the history books that has been seemingly washed away over time... the brad dorfman-backed original incarnation of what would later be known as stereo, this is blue.

i find it interesting that the vision honcho had the basic elements of two* of skateboarding's more-enduring companies in the summer of '92 and managed to drive them both into the ground in little over 6 months.

*(the other brand being TV, essentially an earlier version of Toy Machine with Ed and Mike V)

dwindle sees c&d is taking all the cash from unauthorized reissues, decides to do screen print reissues of blind slick boards (dont understand that decision) and the oc bladerunners deck, realizes 101 graphics are cooler and will sell better, decides to revive it for reissues.

if its true, this most likely why 101 is being revived in my opinion.
