well that element deck was a real solid one while it lasted, but it snapped so badly yesterday, them helium featherlight decks.
snapped far too quick but it was a great board
I'm going to argue that Placebo owes their entire career to a Canadian dude's skate video part. Appleyard should be getting royalties for this shit.

Best - DLX, Given, Tum Yeto, DNA, and Kayo.

Worst - Zero, it felt soggy and dead after a week of skating. Flip, they are with NHS now so I'm assuming they are better. But I rode a friends and it was a piece of ply wood.

3 boards ago I picked up a helium featherlight on sale, and was surprised at how good it was.  might try another element sometime in the future.

worst: anybody remember libtech?  no?  good, cause they were shit.  there is absolutely nothing worse than recycled wood.  a now defuct skateshop used to sell recycled wood shop decks when i had first started skating.  it took me three purchases to realize that the shittyness of the deck wasn't all in my head.

Best boards i had was probably a Black label skip Pronier board many years ago, great board, or the 1st Donny Barley board on Toy Machine, both of them felt so good and had a great snap-

worst board i had was a Element Tosh board that i won in a bet from a dude who owned a skateshop in Jax Fl, that board didn?t have anything of what you want in a skateboard, but it was free so i cant complain.

PS Stix (Stereo, Alien, Habitat, Welcome, old black label) and Bareback (DLXSF) are the 2 best woodshops period. Everyone else trys to copy their molds, edge routing and shapes

Best: dlx... Worst: pop lite.   anyone ride chapman wood?  Used to be all i would ride back in the 90s, but i stopped after one of the mods here gave me an alien deck, and zoos became hard to find.  If the quality is still there, id ride another one.

i just remembered winning an active deck at a game of skate.  i broke it on a feeble grind.  figure that shit out.

most tumyeto boards have weird shapes.  i've had 4 so far and 3 of them were flat as hell.  i'm skating a foundation right now and the nose is more mellow than the tail.

I don't really have a worst. Anything with a weird ass shape. Maybe Girl because they have a lot of concave which im not into, and huge nose/small tail.

Toy Machine 8.12 i think is the best. I just bought a new one yesterday and i love it. Best shape for sure.

DLX are the best.

I haven't really skated anything else lately, I think I am getting a 5boro this time... DLX are running low of 7.75. Anybody else has anything to say about 5boro?

Girl/Choc boards are known for having little/mellow concave.

Best: Toy Machine, DLX, and DNA.

Worst: Flip. Hands down. All the Crailtap decks I've had were pretty shitty too.

Oh i guess i should pay more attention next time i see one.  I know they still have that huge nose/small tail combo which really bothers me for some reason though.

best: baker

worst:  have never ridden anything else.

Are you the brother?

I don't really know which brand I like to skate the most. But I had three of the first line of Plan B (00-era) boards that felt really good. I had the sick P-Rod board with the sugar skull, loved that board. PJ Ladd and Gallant boards were good two.

But the worst board I ever skated was an A-Team, Gershon Mosley model. I feel terrible when I think about it.

Best: I really like the Baker EE (8.5) shape, probably my favorite. Zoo York, Alien, Crailtap, Blackbox and DLX boards also make me happy.
Worst: I've never had a Foundation deck that I liked.
