Maybe Antwuan is just too hard to work with?

This was on Patrick's Twitter

"Trying to get a mellow interview. Mission failure RT @manuteHERE: Dude what's your problem RT @patrickodell: I'm at Antwuan's house again"

The whole Dylan "standing next to stay gold" is so lame. Dylan's part and Stay Gold both kill it. Doesn't even make sense to compare the two.

sure it does. i haven't given a fuck about any new video that came out since or before i saw stay gold recently, but i've still watched that dylan part at least once or twice a day.

I'm sure Gravis paid Patrick O'Dell handsomely to release the episode at this time. I can't imagine him having much to talk about considering he's only 22.

There ain't no shit on T.V. tonight

From the caption of the teaser on the VBS site:

"When Patrick started doing the interviews for Dylan?s episode everybody said, ?Wait until you see his new shit coming out.? Well, we made sure we waited so we could incorporate it into the episode and better understand what Dill, AVE, and Fat Bill mean by ?he is in the window.?

Seems pretty explanatory as to why its coming out so close to his Gravis part.

I don't know if you're trying to compare an Antwuan episode to a Dylan one, but they're both 22.

And as much as I find Antwuan entertaining, I don't care to hear about how he hasn't skated much or how much shit he has in and on his body. I'd rather watch an interview with a guy who's been putting in a shit ton of work for an amazing standalone part, and gotten three covers in a year.

I didn't mean to compare Dylan and Antwuan. I'm not sure if Antwuan has more or even much to say, it's just the way that he says it that will guarantee that the episode will be interesting.

What does that mean? "In the Window"
Is that a common phrase or
some stoner/illuminatti type of saying?

I think people are just a little suspicious of what seems to be a coordinated marketing campaign -video, magazines, epicly laterd etc, most likely financed by a snowboard company.

the same thing happened when that Skate video game came out . . .  Patrick produced a bunch of little episodes to coincide with its release.

And last week, everyone was fuckin' in love with Dylan and ready to suck his dick. So just accept the recent flood of coverage and open wide.

Dude, there's no qualms about it being a marketing scheme. It says first thing in that teaser-"Presented by Gravis." Gravis is making it pretty obvious that they're trying to get Dylan out there. And for good reason.

Well, yes, the video says that but it raises interesting questions about skate magazine covers and epicly laterd being paid for nonbranded advertising.
