Why does Daniel Castillo never have a full part?

Why is it that Daniel never has full parts?
I really enjoy his skating and personality.

Why does Daniel Castillo not have a shoe on DVS, he has been on waay longer than someone like Torey who just got a shoe or Dr.Z.
Daniel is whats called a "milker" or a "leech". People like Richard Mulder and Mike York knew they had past their prime. Whether it was injury or just not staying competitive, they knew when to bow out gracefully. They both started their own thing; Turf and Heel Bruise. Girl/Choc have the sickest pros with they cleanest style, it's what they are known for. Every team has a milker. Element has Bam, Workshop has Berra, Plan B has Duffy and Colin McKay. Mystery had Adrian Lopez. Baker has Jeff Lenoce. The list goes on and on There are 2 reasons pros turn into milkers. 1 they can move a lot of boards: Berra and Bam. And 2 they are friends with the founding members: D. Castillo is a perfect example. I think you should be able to stay pro based on the footage you put out or how well you place in contests, not how many boards you sell. I can't belive Kirchart retired but Berra has several boards out and a few different shoes out, skateboarding has gotten so regular. Based on Daniel Castillo's level of skating right now, do you think he would be able to get on Girl/Choc if he wasn't their friend.....fuck no..He will never have a full part or shoe. Vincent Alvarez and Jesus Fernandez will have a shoe before him.

wrong and wrong. he is the epitome of short skater style, but there are plenty of short dudes out there that got some real ill steeze. shorty style > fat guys looking uncomfortable on their boards.


some serious hate on D cas in here. and frank talk of retirement. i'm surprised no one else has said this yet...girl/chocolate is a family, family comes before rutheless business mesures. chocolate is not losing much by hooking their boy up. girl being the epitome of family in skateboarding isn't really touched on much these days, but why do all you kids go crazy when your favorite super-am is never bumped up to the chocolate squad. family first.
