Price point of $85? The shoe looks nice and basic for skating...no idea how they're justifying that price tag.

Omar;s cost $85 as well, but these look way better. All the technology I guess, justifies a $85 price tag

I'm guessing there's some hidden technological features in there justifying the price, which could go way up if they start releasing super limited collab versions later.

At least they don't like like super minimalist vulcanized shoes or crosstrainers, although I was hoping Koston would have tried to incorporate some design elements from non-skate Nikes considering he collects shoes.

I'll wait for the weartested review before I consider buying.

No toe stitching at all?
On that black and white pair it looks like there's stitching similar to the bruin up on the toebox.

Is the toe gazelle-like?  Or straighter?  Kinda hard to see.

I was kind of expecting it to have an air pocket.
If anyone could bring that style back, it'd be Koston.
Not to mention it would make the Koston's stand out
amongst all the other swoosh branded shoes.

but I'll end up buying it anyways

I've seen the sample in person, so much technical craziness involved with this shoe. There is aesthetic stitching on the toe similar to a gazelle/bruin but it isn't for a panel. There is a lot going on that you can't really see,so i would reserve your judgment until it's in your hand.Really light minimal cupsole thats insanely flexible and grippy.Apparently koston has been at nike hq every week just trying everything out, really hands on.

I guess you aren't paying for the technology that spare change metioned. Same reason why the Omar's are $85. Flywire, tongue zipper, etc..

They're turning kids into slaves just to make cheaper sneakers...BUT WHAT'S THE REAL COST, CAUSE THE SNEAKERS DON'T SEEM THAT MUCH CHEAPER. Why are we still paying so much for sneakers when you got them made by little slave kids...WHAT ARE YOUR OVERHEADS?

No one really makes shoes in the USA anymore, I guess New Balance, and a couple few. I don't remember which ones though.
