I only see blazers, half-cabs and chucks with thrasher logos on them.

That half cab looks a LITTLE BIT more like the Hewitt 2. So Vox is behind this collab?

Like Daewon said: if skateboarding is a ten story building, Rodney is on eleventh floor.

Probably Vox. They are really big in Japan from what I've heard.

If I hear that they're quality and affordable I would probably buy.

Tate posted a link somewhere and I think it said some Japanese brand Mita Sneakers is behind it.

Mita is just a store that stocks this. There's a Japanese company that holds the Thrasher license for JP and does a lot of stuff with it (collabo's with popular streetwearbrands that have little to nothing to do with skating for instance)

theres a huge culture in japan and other asian countrys that is super into collecting different things, and thrasher memorabilia is one of the sought after things. i see these kinds of dudes at the flea market all the time and interact with them on ebay a lot (a lot of shirt collectors in Malaysia who use ebay a lot). most are super cool, some are grown ass men taking shirt/shoe/clothing collecting way too seriously. like jason dill said in that interview posted here recently. . . its really cool that theres people who are still "into" stuff.
