Those shifters actually look great, alot better than the catalog pics. It's funny you say the feel like the Wino, this whole time I've been bummed on the new shifters cause they just look like a leather Wino. What justifies the 120$ price tag though?
What I liked about the old shifters was that the sole was actually really sturdy, so they were good for riding motorcycles in, but at the same time they skated great. Do these feel the same? Either way I'll probably pick up a pair of these new ones cause.. Heath.
And for anyone asking whether the Shifters are good for riding motorcycles in..I can only speak on behalf of the old shifter: obviously no shoe that skates this great can be as good as a proper motorcycle boot. With that said, a somewhat sturdy shoe made out of thick leather will do the trick most of the time and will probably hold up if you go down. It wont protect you against those twists or crushing your foot though but.. Either you're a leather and jeans guy or gore-tex guy I guess.
