Those Boo's with the sock liner look dope. Just needs a better color but the idea is nice.

Diamond shoes still for whatever reason look off or look very poor looking. I even think that with HUF shoes too. Like something about their shoes all look like rookie designers are making them.

I agree. I think all those Diamonds look really boring and somehow off. HUF is mostly boring and off also, even though I like their shoes a lot better than Diamond. The Gillette was an exception though. That shoe was awesome. The kinda blew it with the colorways though. 

Is it because it has a "Sticky gum rubber outsole offers exceptional grip and board feel" why not just say vulcanized, they used it to describe other shoes in their line. I agree with fellow Slappers that most shoes look like half cooked ideas that they just said fuck it and threw out.
Boo's XL shoe does look better thought out than say the Biebel (lace wire system is absolute trash)

Lucky for Diamond, their fallback is on their clothes and other such things. Their shoes hardly need that push into the skate markets and they can sell direct to their customer. It's almost like it's a side project or something. I wouldn't be surprised if their team was canned and they stopped making shoes.

Noticed that Muska is on Straye (again) and saw that they were considered affordable footwear. Then I noticed they sold them on Zumiez and noticed they were on the cheap side. Not a good looking shoe but still, cheap for all the people that can't afford expensive stuff.

That's actually a original adidas shoe that they made for the german army. The margielas are called the "replicas" because of that, they were copies. The rest of that catalog is not that bad, I think they have legit product, just most lf the products are too derivative, and they have no true identity yet, but I respect what they doing. The boo slip on is one of the best looking slip-ons at the moment IMO. The nick tucker shoe looks like a DVS release tho. Biebel shoe made a lot more sense when I saw that you could lace through the knit instead of the thin cables, still they could have made knit more protected somehow, because people are scared to buy those and actually skate. They look too fragile.

I had like 10 pairs of the original GAT's in a row couple years ago and I hate myself skating through all of them.. At the time I didn't even know there was Maison Margiela version of them too. I found a site online where they were like 5 euros a pair I'd just skate them. The sole was kind of same as the busenitzs with the heel being slightly higher.
