I’ve mentioned it elsewhere on here, but the old dude retro skate shoe collecting scene goes surprisingly deep on instagram. I follow several of these accounts for fun/nostalgia.

It doesn’t help that everyone collecting these shoes seems like a size 8, which really ups the toddler factor.

Ha yeah same, it's cool to see what people have held onto/found over the years. I know we all romanticize certain time periods and brands, but it's wild to see some of the stuff people going nuts over.

If I'm remembering correctly, the vulc version did not have Danny's name on it though.

If I'm remembering correctly, the vulc version did not have Danny's name on it though.

I thought they re-issued Danny Way's first shoe in like 2005. I remember there being an add for it as like some anniversary of the shoe. I think it was for the 10th anniversary. I can't find anything about it at all anymore, so maybe my mind is playing tricks on me.
