I remember seeing him wearing the vulcanized version of these a lot, but I can't seem to find a picture of it.
If I'm remembering correctly, the vulc version did not have Danny's name on it though.

I thought they re-issued Danny Way's first shoe in like 2005.  I remember there being an add for it as like some anniversary of the shoe. I think it was for the 10th anniversary. I can't find anything about it at all anymore, so maybe my mind is playing tricks on me.

You are correct. This shoe was already re-released. Around time when PJ Ladd switched to DC.
His welcome to DC video had him skating mostly eS Accels and couple clips in those DC Danny Way shoes.

It for sure isn’t but Danny wants you to think it is, just like plan b. (well they are but no one ever said they wanted it back and to my generation it was only hyped because they grabbed all the top dudes we liked , but no one ended up buying it cause the graphics sucked)

Nostalgia in skating never seems to work, remember when es brought back sheep? We all talk so fondly about these things In the past but reality is we wouldn’t buy them now.

Yeah, that they were fucking ugly.  I think they ditched the Ollie patch versions. 


But he’s wearing a couple of Purcell prototypes in that.   He’s even wearing the version they almost released without the toe cap and the line just basically drawn on the front of the nose.

I don't even think the diehards for DC in philly are going to rush to buy that shoe like with the lynx. would rather just get an es koton 6 if I was going to skate that kind of shoe
