these games were all perfection, but started falling off hard after the release of underground 1. the best levels had to have been school 2 and venice beach

gamewise THPS 2 was the best game ever
graphic-wise THUG looked the best

Project 8 was a stupid piece of crap in every way possible

The first two were the best to fuck around on, but THPS4 had the best career.

oh shit i forgot about the los angelas level in tony hawk 3. thats gotta be the best level ever behind the school, you create an earthquake, and its got those black square rails everyone used to skate back in the day that heath ate shit on trying to lipslide. i think tony hawk 1 was pretty wack actually, you couldnt even manual. 4 was the most under rated for sure, it had great levels the college and san fran

The SF level in 1 was way better than the SF level in 4, I always wondered why they never remade it.

2 and 4 are my all time favorites. the mini ramp in 4 before you even chose a level was super fun haha.

The levels got progressively shittier after the fourth game. It'd be sick to be able to play some of the levels in the later games if they were designed for the earlier game systems, does that make sense?

The last one (I think) had a Pulaski Park level, I would love to be able to skate that with the game engine and controls from thps2.

THPS 2 and 4 were my favorites. School 2 was the shit, I almost shit my pants when I found the hidden Carlsbad gap section in that level. The only thing that pissed me off was that security guard who would try to run you over in his cart. I would be trying to get a trick and that bastard would come out of nowhere and try to run me over.

THPS4 was the only skate game where you could change the pro's clothes, was hyped on that. San fran and L.A. were tight too.

THPS4 was the best. Levels were nice and big and had a nice open feel. When they started doing all that THUG shit, it was just too crammed up with dumb stuff everywhere. I love KONA the best and the college level next. Too bad SKATE just totally killed the franchise....but even SKATE is starting to take its toll.

I can't even begin to fathom how many skate spots from video parts I remade in thps4/thug park editor.
