When i say originality, i am not talking just about tricks.
Im talking about the style/characther of a person when they skate,
it sounds like an odd concept today but people back in the day use to have distinct styles where you could depict who the person was just from the style.

or maybe im just getting old.
thats probaly it.

You care about the character of the people you watch skate? Dude, most skaters are scumbags. I hope you don't like the anti-hero team
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”
I quit skating for a time due to piling out

i understand what you're getting at in some respect, but there are so many skaters i like because of off-board attributes. Walker ryan for example, hardly my favorite skateboarder trick wise, but i am hyped on the dude because he is also a UC student (w/out transferring!)

yead dude, i think its rad he's balancing a full time real education with professional skateboarding.  Sorry my favorite dudes arent 16 year old high school dropouts who can barely string a sentence together.

edit- not that i don't appreciate their skateboarding

Fuck that. You know how many people get jobs as undergrads? It is probably the smart decision on his part, but it doesn't make him any more likable.
Education should not be used as a determinant of a person's values or worth.
Ted Kazinski went to Harvard.

Daryl is one of the nicest dudes i've met in person, not sure what i think about austyn now.
skating is all about choosing your outfit very deliberately, going out in public. looking super sick. and then riding your board a little bit

Watch the habitat video. You should think he's awesome. I'm glad he's a bit of a prick.
