2 Chainz - Birthday Song (Explicit) ft. Kanye West

Yams everywhere!

Dope ass video for one of my favorite tracks off the album.  You already know Kanye's gonna bring a bit more to the table than some "green screen background for the whole video" type shit.

at the moment, this appears to be the Cruel Summer tracklist. i'm sure we'll get at least a few bonus tracks.

i'm sorta bummed and hyped at the same time (not stoked that 4 songs we've already heard made the album, but i do like the guests though (R. Kelly, Ghostface, Ma$e, Raekwon, The-Dream, Jay-Z, etc.)

1. "To The World" by Kanye West, R. Kelly
2. "Clique" by Kanye West, JAY Z, Big Sean
3. "Mercy" by Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T, 2 Chainz
4. "New God Flow" by Kanye West, Pusha T, Ghostface Killah
5. "The Morning" by Raekwon, Pusha T, Common, 2 Chainz, CyHi Da Prynce, Kid Cudi, D'Banj
6. "Cold" by Kanye West, DJ Khaled
7. "Higher" by The-Dream, Pusha T, Ma$e
8. "Sin City" by John Legend, Travi$ Scott, Teyana Taylor, CyHi Da Prynce, Malik Yusef
9. "The One" by Kanye West, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Marsha Ambrosius
10. "Creepers" by Kid Cudi
11. "Bliss" by John Legend, Teyana Taylor
12. "Don't Like" by Kanye West, Chief Keef, Pusha T, Big Sean, Jadakiss

http://www.vibe.com/node/108991

the soundtrack to RZA's upcoming movie, The Man with the Iron Fists, has a pretty sick tracklist as well.

1. The Black Keys / RZA "The Baddest Man Alive"
2. Ghostface Killah / M.O.P / Pharoahe Monch "Black Out"
3. Kanye West "White Dress"
4. The Revelations feat. Tre Williams "I Forgot To Be Your Lover"
5. Talib Kweli / RES "Get Your Way (Sex as a Weapon)"
6. Raekwon / Ghostface Killah / Kool G. Rap "Rivers of Blood"
7. Method Man / Freddie Gibbs / StreetLife "Built for This"
8. 24 Carat Black "Poverty's Paradise"
9. Killa Sin "The Archer"
10. RZA / Flatbush Zombies "Just Blowin' In The Wind"
12. Corrine Bailey Rae "Chains"
13. Pusha T / Raekwon "Tick Tock"
14. Frances Yip "Green is the Mountain"
15. The Wu-Tang Clan "Six Directions of Boxing"
16. Mabel John "Your Good Thing Is About To End"

http://hiphop-n-more.com/2012/08/the-man-with-the-iron-fists-soundtrack-artwork-track-list/

glad that Kanye has been feeling the Wu so much the last few years. RZA & Rae on MBDTF, a RZA beat on Watch The Throne, Rae & Ghost on Cruel Summer and Kanye on RZA's soundtrack.

i can dig it.

I'm surprised Don't Like is an actual album cut and not a bonus track. That nigga Chief Keef and ESPECIALLY Yung Chop been on some bullshit tryna bite the hand that feeds them tryna pop off in all these interviews & twitter beef. I wouldn't have gave them anymore shine. Still, this may or may not be totally official yet so who knows.

Haven't gone through the whole thing yet but it does sound like Wayne brought a lil more effort and energy to the booth with this one, you can just tell by his flow & delivery. He gotta couple solid cuts on here (Wish You Would & Green Ranger) so I'm just glad he didn't botch the series. Dedication 2 is still arguably the greatest mixtape of all time. But on some real shit if yall get this in yo itunes change the fucking cover cuz that Dedication 3, copy/paste a trukfit character shit is trifling. Like, I almost feel disrespected that they even tried to pull that shit. Even the fan-made covers were much better.

The GOOD Music snippets are cool. I know its only 12 tracks but im betting most of em are like 5-6 minutes long so it'll still prolly even out to at least an hour. Still, I wish the album ender wasnt Don't Like but thats just me bein picky. I'm still stoked for the album.

Also I'd like to take back my slightly-overcritical Based Ona Tru Story "review". It's grown on me much more so ima have to raise that 7.5 to an 8.3. the only whack songs on there are Extremely Blessed & Feel Good. I'm sure my opinion just means sooooo much to yall, but yea. there it is.

ALSO I'm preppin my shit as well. It's been a longer process than I had originally thought, but my mixtape/album is coming out nicely. Like, forreal on some next level shit.  It's like my generation's Illmatic. SLAP bout to witness an icon n the making & shit. Real talk, niggas gon be like DAMN, I actually SAW this nigga come up n shit. If anybody was gon be the 19 year old wonderchild to change rap forever it'd have to be the man behind DaSk8D00D ya know? Anyways, I'm a drop what'll most likely be my last single sometime this week so stay tuned for that. If yall still tryna catch up on my other ones I got my soundcloud link in my sig below.

Nasa Tape Volume 2 is dropping on Halloween, apparently. Can't wait. As much as I love his raps, he should focus hard on producing for the rest of raider klan. His beats are constantly great.

this has everything on it (320 cd rip. it's labeled wrong on purpose)

It is kind of an odd album. Too many different styles all on one disc. Could have done without John Legend and R&B stuff but that is just me and plus I hate fucking Dream. Seems like most of the stuff that has been leaked out is the good stuff. I think that is the only thing that saved the album but the rest was kind of a let down to me. Probably should have made more songs.

And MMG's album better? Maybe the first one but the 2nd one was just as goofy with Omarion's ass on there.

i thought kanye would have saved some bangers for the album release but this is just one bug disappointment.  sin city was alright and the raekwon verse was sick but when kanye calls himself the god of rap you expect A LOT more. jesus fuckin christ.

at least baby faced killah is supposed to drop later this month...
