Anyone listened to the new Kendrick album? It leaked today or yesterday or whatever.

http://www76.zippyshare.com/v/5HUlJsjq/file.html

Supposed to be it, but with bad tags. I'll check it out at home.

buy his album .

copped it and had a lil listening "party" in compton yesterday . my homie's street was having an easter block party and once some of the neighbors realized what we were bumping , they cut off their own music (loc'd out fools playing oldies) and told us to turn OUR shit up . whole street was listening together . so proud this dude represents my area and planet earth as a whole . it's not like good kid or pimp a butterfly , kdot on some other shit . support real music .

edit: woke up yesterday to news that one of our good friends had just died earlier in the morning , so my homie wasn't down to join the block party . he didn't want to leave his house , then we caught word of that crazy ohio dude shooting ppl up on fb live . . . there was weird ass energy and i was pretty high but hearing kendrick's album made us feel like something was right in the world .

Fire album all around. Sometimes his flow gets a little repetitive but I still love it. I've got 7-Minute Freestyle on repeat

who is that in your sig? love it. I was about to ask in that shitty "hey white boys" thread but I didnt want to add to it again.
Plus I've been diving into hip hop heavily again so I might as well start following this thread.

you guys into RTJ? I'm gonna see them live next week, with Danny Brown too. Hyped!

Not a big RTJ fan but El-P's earlier stuff is fucking amazing. The whole company flow funcrusher plus album is maybe the best indie hip hop record of all time.

I havent listened to Company Flow in a looooooong time! Still have a cd and some 12"s lying around somewhere....
I listened to his Fantastic Damage solo album yesterday, which I loved when it came out, and it's super good production wise, but El-P on his own as an MC is a lot less fun to listen to I think. He's better in a group setting.
As far as best indie hip hop record....yeah I'd probably put in my top 10!

I'd go one step further and say that El-P without El-P is the best El-P.

(that's the best indie rap album of all time)
