All dwindle boards have the prc stamp on top of the front truck.  Never seen that stamp on a Stereo deck.

and no one is going to because it never came to pass.
the dsm/dwindle thing was a posted earlier in this thread and it was more of rumor than a fact.

i heard from a reliable source that the wood is going to remain the same.

As a rep that will probably be losing his job over this change. I can assure you guys that the wood that stereo is currently using will always be in the line. Maybe only on pro models or team boards or something but they have way to much invested into that wood to change.  Some of the sales guys will change but the backbone of the brand will still be the same just shipped from a different location and with hopefully a lot more in stock.

heard the same thing as faster!, same wood. i'm a fan of the boards, always good pop and a nice concave.
saw some of the new Hi-Fi wheels today, they look a little different than the other ones but they do have two formulas they are doing, one for street the other i more all terrain. looking forward to trying them out.

so did the source of Stereo decks get figured out?

I just bought one, and then found this thread, and it would be a crying shame if it was Chinese wood.

Maybe they were just testing out woodshops for options, or like most companies have different 'levels' of boards made in different factories, but fairly recently when speaking to a distro about an order I was waiting from the factories for (which was from china) they said their order got delayed because of a huge stereo order that was just put through that factory...

Cliche had been making there boards at DSM far before they switched over to Dwindle. I dont know what all the shit talk is for, Ive ridden a couple of the new DSM boards and they were amazing. Have any of you actually tried them or are you just basing your judgement of the word on the forum?
[close]

i've ridden them on 3 seperate occassions and all 3 times i didn't like it.
i don't dislike anything without trying it 3 times, be it boards, trucks, wheels, bearings, sneakers, food, you name it.
no matter how bad the experience, i'll try it at least 2 more times before shunning it.

Have you eaten poop 3 times yet? What is your feeling on eating poop?
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”
