didnt you manipulate a dtg printer to do boards- or was that another pal?
Dat was me.
The skelly guy was done on the DTG. Its by no means perfect. The basic problem is the concave on the deck, as it moves away from the print head (which does not have vertical movement) the print diffuses.
I saw some raaaaaad shit that Epson was doing with a device called a "DTO" printer. Direct to Object. It had a full XYZ axis. But thats the near future.
Sharon was done with a different process. I printed the image onto a waterslide transfer decal. Basically the same things as you get with model airplane kits. I mixed a special brew of fixative to make it adhere and push out the bubbles. Its way more tedious, but it yields good results. I printed the decal on the DTG, I want to try it on a proper high-end Epson, to get better results.
