Acquired a big stamp, so I promptly tried to print boards with it.

Screenprint ink and airbrush.

More fun on the printer.

I can print griptape now too!

Pretty stoked that I can print boards. Cruisers at least for now. Anyone need a custom graphic?

What did you use to adhere the paper to the wood so well? I'm thinking of doing something similar soon.

How do you make all of that stuff? You're definitely not fucking around. I always felt compelled to comment with something, but sadly, the most I can say is "really cool, brah". How can a printer even print on wood?

Thank you! Im actually using a modified Epson photo printer thats been converted to work with water-based garment inks. I normally print tshirts with it, but I got curious one day and figured wood was basically a natural fiber so there ya go!

The dodge one above me is actually a waterslide decal though. Printed with the same printer and transferred onto the board very carefully!
The ones I print directly onto the board have much more of a "hand printed" quality (namely, mistakes) because of the curvature of the deck. The lines tend to blur as the board moves away from the print head. This one is a direct to board:

Dont have the link, but use stickers or something similar around the stuff you want to remove, use nail polish remover  + cotton and scrub.
Do it outside or in a well ventilated area, use shitty clothes so you dont get paint or nail polish remover on them. Beware that the nail polish can drip, dont let it drip on the graphic you want to save, it will remove the colour instantly.

Does anybody on here have experience wheatpasting on a board you're gonna skate? Wondered if it would make it harder to do slide tricks cause the wheatpaste would probably be pretty sticky

Maybe some sort of acrylic sealer? Or just get rails.

Yeah I had stumbled across a thing called "mod podge" earlier and it came up when I googled acrylic sealer. And rails are a great idea, might just order a pair now that you mentioned it. Thank you!

Krylon Crystal Clear would probably work well enough. Just apply it liberally.
Post results! Im curious to see if it'll work.

The image quality is shit but after compressing the image to fit the forum it's all I could do.

You could have uploaded it somewhere like imgur.com.

The only way I can attach the actual photo is to make it take up the whole screen and that's just annoying.

Anyway here's another graphic I did recently.

Thanks man! I'm stoked on them. So I printed these on a digital garment printer. I usually just print shirts, but I kind of hacked the machine to print on boards. It's by no means perfect, namely due to the concavity of the deck, but I'm having my fun.
