I'm coming out to denver this week.  What's the deal with snow right now?  I'll probably bring my board no matter what but is everything fucked?

Just snowed a couple of days ago. It should be all melted by the weekend. Going to be in the upper 30's all week but warming to to 47 by Thurs. Hopefully 45-50 by the weekend. Even if it does snow when your are here hit up the indood Woodward at the Colorado mills mall.

Going to Ft. Collins sometime today.  Hopefully edora or northside parks have something skateable in there. If not, I'm sure one of the breweries has something drinkable in there.

Up in Silverthorne where i'm from, we can skate from april to october. 6 months, on average.

Denver gets a significantly longer skate season, though

A couple things were shoveled out, but still a lot of snow all over the place when I went yesterday.

Skate a good 6 months out of the year.

Don't ever mess with Denver park locals bc they will bust you up.
Very tight-knit, and good friends.

To everyone above, Boulder has an amazing skate scene.  Please come into my shop in Boulder and I'll gladly give you a free shop video and directions to any spot in Colorado.

The Lafayette park has already been shoveled and was fully skatable today.  50's the whole weekend

just dont go to boulder park, cuz it sucks and the people suck

Then don't come to Boulder.

poocrusher, I came out to my mom's house in estes park last november and liked my boulder park visit.  The bowl section was a little strange but everything else was fun and the locals were cool. I don't see how anyone could hate on that park or city.
Do you run Meta skateshop?

What...you just talked shit on my town, my park and all of my friends.  All of this was unprovoked and uninitiated shit talk on a public forum.  We were talking about Denver and the new awesome park in Lafayette.  This was supposed to be a helpful thread.

And now you wanna play the cool guy.

My friends and I have been planning a trip to Denver for awhile now. The trip is coming up quick, and I was hoping to get the lowdown on some spots if anyone would be so kind.
I'm sure we'll hit up Denver Shop while we're there as BabyKillaSeason suggested. But it would be great to have a game plan before we head up there. We won't jeopardize your spots or anything... we just wanna film and have some fun.

If anyone can help me out on these spots it would really be much appreciated.

And I've been lurking the web and I think this bench spot is at Colfax Elementary... is that correct?

Thanks in advance everybody.

Yeah that's Colfax Elementary. Those benches are all skate stopped now though. I want to say that the other spot is at 16th and Wewatta. Dunno about those rails.

Thanks a lot man. I appreciate it. Yup, Google street view confirms it... that is the location of those ledges. That sucks about those benches man... I can't believe that. They look awesome.

Would you happen to know about either of these?

I think I recall reading that this one is in a rough part of town though...
