Aurora is fun.  I've been there twice in the past week or so.  Tranny section is fun and smooth, not the best layout though, you end up with too much speed coming out of the pocket.  Plaza is fun, only drawback so far is it's been really crowded, but, it's brand new.  Also the metal they use is soft and kind of shitty.  I guess they used it because it's quiet, but I hate that stuff.

Thanks, I went to the park today it was super fun! So many different things you don't see around here. I prolly won't make the drive back out there any time soon, but it's a great place to stop even if it's just to get warmed up.

That sucks man, I actually heard about someone (assuming it's you) breaking their ankle on that brick bank. Luckily I heard that after the session because that was the only thing I skated while I was there.

The tranny section was kind of disappointing, but the crowds are definitely the worst part. The lamest fucking kids in Aurora, some juggalo showed up smoking menthols, a python chilling around his neck.

That thing is kinda hard to skate, the ground is paved weird and tricks are limited by the shape of it. Alls I've seen of it was Dax Miller's back lip pop out on it.

Got there at 9:45, half lights out at 10, the rest 10 minutes later.  Still was better than nothing.  I told two kids on scooters to go to bed.

Little Village is really fun. its basically perfect almost to smooth of ground and ledges everyone a mix between recycled plastic to metal benches but all grind perfect. then there is a cement back corner that is a low round downrail and a 5 or 6 stair and then a bump to ledge and a hubba. if it wasn't such a drive i would go back alot more.

Anybody got any spots in North Chicago or anywhere around that area? I've never really explored around there, but I'm gonna be living there for a bit.

It's under a mile and a straight shot down Wilson ave. I've never felt endangered there, but that area's pretty densely populated with crazy people IMO. Stop by Walt Disney school while you're in the area; you can see the wax from outer space. Google Maps

It's only 10 minutes tops by board straight down the road toward the lake. Wilson is safe.
