i really like the way he skates rails, but i hate him as a person.
the first time i met him, a friend of ours did a back smith on a flat bar and branond immediately says, "only niggers do back smiths. and nollie heels. those tricks are for dirty niggers. dude, and did you hear how i beat up this gay kid at a party last night? why? cus he was gay! fuck that!"

i suppose it's how slash feels about jon allie.

In this thread: some Chicago skaters reveal themselves to be decent people rather than all-too-common-in-skateboarding homophobes? Invisi-rep for you

but i'm white (well, i look white) so he must have felt comfortable enough to say that.
maybe he was just trying to impress. ?

So yesterday, I discovered that Oyolar is probably the most intelligent out of all of us. Regardless, I find it incredibly awesome that my friend is doing her journalism final project on skateboarding.

Also, I know I've seen this street gap before, but does anyone remember where it is? Kalis does it in a line at 0:24

I'll probably try and collect some firsthand pictures over the next few weeks. It'll get easier as the weather gets warmer and the days get longer.

The Quizbump is a catchy name for the bump right next to a Quizno's. Quite fun. And nah, the bubbledges are the ledges that Kalis ollies onto and then (fs or bs?) kickflips into the street. What are these fancy hotel ledges you speak of?

They are like waxed up half circle ledges(like they rise from the ground, elevate, then go back into the ground). Steve Fauser 5050d one of them a pretty long time ago. You can see it from Lake Shore Drive when driving up to Wilson or more easily going south from Wilson.

Added the W Hotel to the list. I walked around on Google Maps and didn't see any parking garages near the Quizbump, but the pictures aren't always the most recent. I kinda feel like the parking garage is right across the street from Quizno's, but I might be lying...

sorry, i should've been more specific.  across the alley there is a garage door, when it opens you can get into the garage, I skated down their for a decent hour without getting kicked out.  and to get out just follow a car that's leaving the building
