I won't be able to make it fellas.  I'm going to have to stay late for work, I agreed to a deadline with my customer like an idiot.

I'm 90% sure I'll be at Cream tomorrow.  I'll be the older has-been wearing these.  No need to make fun of me, I paid less than $30 for them.  A simple "nice shoes kook" will be introduction enough.

You should've seen me skating flat the other day. It was a sad, sad show.

My band will be rolling through Chicago next week. I doubt I'll have a whole lot of time and I'm not totally sure of where exactly in the city I'll be, but is there like a definitive "you need to skate here if you go to Chicago" spot or park?

Edit: Upon further inspection, it looks like I'll be in the Hermosa/Logan Square area

id just go downtown. theres not really any definative spots, but if you start on jackson & dearborn (blueline to jackson) and go north on dearborn theres a couple really fun spots. other than that just skate around downtown

Are you playing at the Alderaan? I just saw Full of Hell there last week.  It was my first basement show.

Haven't been there in a pretty long while, but the lights were on 24/7 last time I heard. Sometimes cops write tickets for staying too late so be careful.

I'm designing a park. What are some things you all would want to see?

I thought you made a design an asked us to criticize it. Or is something else happening? Anyways I always enjoy a good spine and there really aren't that many around here. Also, something like this would be sick.

The flat probably shouldn't be as long, as it would take up way too much room, maybe omit it completely. If you can't make it, I'll settle for a dog doo stick.

That design was used elsewhere. This is new, relevant to IL residents in the northwest suburbs, and already locked down (company has been booked).

So that plaza in the city is getting turned into an actual skate park rather than just being plastic ledges and the manny mania thing, and now another park is being built somewhere else?

That's the new mission to go after. There's a confirmed park going up in non-Loop part of Chicago (confidentiality), as well as a new park going up in the burbs.
