I thought you made a design an asked us to criticize it. Or is something else happening? Anyways I always enjoy a good spine and there really aren't that many around here. Also, something like this would be sick.

The flat probably shouldn't be as long, as it would take up way too much room, maybe omit it completely. If you can't make it, I'll settle for a dog doo stick.

That design was used elsewhere. This is new, relevant to IL residents in the northwest suburbs, and already locked down (company has been booked).

So that plaza in the city is getting turned into an actual skate park rather than just being plastic ledges and the manny mania thing, and now another park is being built somewhere else?

i assume the space in grant park that currently has the plastic ledges/manny mania is going to be used for some other park activity because the new, much bigger park is being built in the south part of grant park a couple blocks down

I went to Asylum once with some friends and we were the only skaters there. There were like 20 scooter-children and like 40 bmxers who took up like the whole park. Plus, the layout is a little weird.
I wish Krush would stay open. Now that Krush will be gone and that Audobon is gone, the only viable option is Cream City.

Which museum?  I'm assuming that's the brown marble spot in the museum...do not recognize downtown spots sometimes.

Where was that downhill white marble spot by a harbor?

Also, NU footage is always welcome.

Who's your friend? I know a lot of people there, and the skate community is pretty small.

You talkin about the first couple of lines? Don't think it's marble, but if I saw the bail footage right, it looks like it's kinda far south of the loop. I looked on google maps and, I could be wrong, but it looks like something is jutting out east of the intersection of E 31st St and LSD.

^Bingo, it took me 30 seconds to locate it from the footage.  It's not marble, it's cement and the spot was very crowded this weekend.
