Is it cool if I go alone, the reason I'm asking so much is because in Minny the U of M is a complete bust

Did you ever need other people to skate?

I'll be in Chicago in October for a couple of days. Now taking recommendations for things to do see/eat etc. Might get a skate in as well, so spots/skate shops suggestions would also be greatly appreciated. Will be staying downtown.

Anyone know what's up with the SLS course post-contest? If they didn't demolish the course, they should bring a bunch of it to the old Grant Park spot or make another park from it.

Follow-up question: when the new Grant Park plaza is finished, is the old Grant Park plaza getting demolished?

Lil Durk's mixtape Signed to The Streets 2 came out today, watch out for the sudden increase in violence.

Has anyone here gone camping at the Indiana Dunes State Park?  I think I'm going to go for two days at the end of the month.

Are there any skateparks nearby, or within 20 minutes that are worth it?

If you're a regular, any better campsites than others?  Flatter, good shade, in the back so you can drink, in the front so you can see girls walk by.

Is this the sort of place where mushrooms would be a good or bad idea?

Thanks for any tips.
I'm posting from my blackberry wtf?!?!?

Going to chi for my buddy's wedding in a few weekends. Was looking for a park to skate near the hotel. Don't mind getting an uber or taking the train if need be. Would prefer a park I can dip into at like 830 and be back at my hotel by one.  Anything with a good bank to ledge would be amazing. Wanted to skate Wilson but it's way too far.  Logan looks pretty cool too.

I'm staying at the holiday inn Mart Plaza- merchandise mart looks like the closest train stop.

Edit: is grant park open?
