best sheet metal?

I bought a shitty quarterpipe for my driveway off Craigslist for $20. The transition is pretty sick, almost a bank but still a quarterpipe, but the bottom is that tinfoil style metal complete with ducktape to hold it down. Went to home depot and couldn't find a thick enough piece and from what I'm looking at a 2 foot piece would be around 40 bucks. I know everyone is gonna say get a stop sign or road sign but I live in a semirural area where it's hard to come across shit like that. Anyone know a good place to score some sheet metal for cheap? What is the best gauge?

I can mail you a cutout of 16 g that you can screw down if you can't find one. I work in a metal shop,have tons of scrap. Just message me. Otherwise,roadside signs are good,but most are aluminum and will warp because its a soft metal. Look up metal suppliers or sheet metal shops in your area or the nearest town over,they'll gladly cut you what you need and sell it cheaper than home depot would,maybe even free

This.  Had some rot in 2 spots on the old backyard mini ramp compound years ago, got a few old road signs, put them under the Masonite, problem solved instantly.
